Hello!

I’m a technical communicator and UX/UI professional in Seattle, Washington.

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human-Centered Design and Engineering (set to graduate in June 2024!) from the University of Washington. Through my coursework, I have learned (among other things) principles of effective user experience design and foundations of qualitative user-centered research; I have also gained skills that have bolstered my experience in project and people management.

Throughout my career, I have learned how to develop effective human-centered documents of all kinds (whether it's an operations manual for a pilot, a subsurface investigation report for a geologist, or a training presentation for a group of technical writers). Most importantly, though, I have learned how to effectively collaborate and communicate with other people. I am most passionate about making connections and learning from others, and in turn helping them learn and develop in their own passions.

Also, I’m a swimmer (hoping to swim the English channel someday!), and during the COVID quarantine of 2020, I crocheted eight blankets for friends and family.
